The service was amazing! The team went above and beyond! Fridays are now GVR night in our house! The packaging is the best I have ever seen - it is vacuum-sealed so the only moisture is the sauce from the food, no watery mess. Food is so yummy, although the portions are a bit small for my partner who needs more after training. Everything was still frozen when it arrived, and it arrived on the days when Cape Town experiences 40'C. I cannot wait to try the rest, and to order my next box!
Not only has my life been made easier by not having to even think about dinner, but the food is so nice my kids can't get enough. Some favorites so far have been the butter chicken and the spagetti bolonaise. Will definitely be ordering again to try the Around the World box.
I took a chance on GVRPREP. It took sometimes to arrive, which didnt bother me seeing that it arrived still frozen and without any problems. The food is perfect for my busy days. Just enough, pretty tasty, and not dry even after heating.

I ordered a large variety of 30 meals. Everything is tasty and of good quality. However, the chicken, rice and spinach meal and the chicken, rice and carrots meal- some chicken pieces are extremely dry and hard to cut, it can not even be chewed and the spinach is
very peppery
GVR meals are tasty. Have tried a few different companies but GVR remains a favourite.
The meals have been excellent, and I think im starting to loose weight too.

Food is great however I feel for the price per meal some of the portions are just to small for a grown man.

This is the only meal prep company that is totally worth it
The meal was very tasty, and I was impressed by the generous portion size. However, it consisted mostly of sauce, vegetables, and rice, with only a small amount of meat.
I initially bought these meals for the days that we don't feel like cooking. Turns out the meals are so delicious that I don't ever feel like cooking anymore! Will be ordering our second batch soon. Some of the meals were a little bit watery when heated, but we just drained the excess water off, and the food was still really good. The meal size is relatively big, but I do sometimes add something like a salad.
the meals are extremely tasty, and filling, the 40 meal packs are great for a month worth of dinners, with an added benefit of reduced electricity costs as you wont need to use your stove or oven often, definitely would recommend, returning customer every month!
I’ve only had one so far as they just arrived - The chicken Orzo - was delicious! Looking forward to trying the rest. But super convenient with a busy work schedule. Thanks Team - keep up the good food!

Quite honestly, I am too lazy to make my own meals, or I just don't get the time, so I usually go for take-aways. But this has changed quite a lot for me. It is quick and convenient when I need it. And honestly, I actually enjoy the meals! They are tasty and just enough to fill me up.
It is about as good as it gets. Super impressed with the flavour. Found it best if defrosted in fridge then heating it.
Very happy with the service I received, the meals are great👌🏼my kids do not eat alot at a time so the portions are fine for them, but I must say that the portions for the kids good be a bit bigger as I can imagine that they would be small for alot of kids out there.
