Karoo Lamb

I'm no food critic, but I'd like to give my honest opinion on the dish.

Let's get the nagative out of the way, the meat. It may be that I just had bad luck with this specific portion, but there was not much meat. What there was, was mostly bone and connective tissue with some tough morcels around it, though I did get one bite of a nice peace, and my wife also had a small piece that was nice and soft. I would absolutely say it is more bone than meat in my case. As I said, it might have been just bad luck.

Positive: The sauce is absolutely amazing. The soft carrots in that sauce are incredibly lekker. We made some rice, and the sauce over the rice alone could be its own dish. Exactly why I was dikbek that there wasn't more meat because it was so good I wanted to eat the bones. Mine was a family meal, but once you discard the bones, I would say it's perfect for two people. I will definitely include the Karoo lamb in my order again, and pray I get lucky!
